LONDRES - ACCOUNT MANAGER
The role is to manage key accounts from a sales perspective to ensure all identified business is realized and new business opportunities identified, cultivated and secured. Ensure a strong business partnership between the company and their key accounts, to ensure they continue to support us with strong reference visits and market PR. Skill Required : Experience in the region with minimum 5 years direct selling or quota’d account management experience. Has a proven track record of meeting/exceeding quota and selling medium sized solutions (£500K - £3M) into Tier 1’s in the region (in related areas – Billing, CRM, RA). Understands the importance of and able to build strong relationships and balance/politics between, Procurement, IT and Business. Ability to introduce new technologies to the organization. Experience with partners such as HP, Ericsson, TechMahindra, TCS and Microsoft. Experienced at working with BT or Vodafone. Is still hungry and dynamic (and doesn’t need an army of people behind). Job Description : Plan field development projects in detail and at management levels. Assist PM to develop Work Breakdown Structure. Establish planning and reporting requirements for suppliers and third parties and integrate supplier and third party plans into overall project plan. Match coding to client systems and reporting requirements. Link plans to document management and cost management processes. Integrate with procurement to match procurement supply plan to overall project plan. Identify, review and agree critical path(s). The successful candidate will provide key support to the Engineering Laboratories, assisting research students and staff with experiments and providing day-to-day management of the laboratory, including safe laboratory practice. Practical skills and confidence in the use of instrumentation are required in addition to some computer experience. You will be able to work with initiative and independently and have good inter-personal and time management skills. The post is based in the Fluid Mechanics Laboratory but you will occasionally be required to contribute to work in other laboratories within the College of Physical Sciences.The required academic qualification is a HNC in an Engineering discipline, however, candidates with lower academic qualification but commensurate experience, who can demonstrate the requisite practical skills, (e.g. a recognised Engineering apprenticeship), will be considered.
