PARIS - FINANCE AND OPERATIONS MANAGER
Job Description : Manage Sales Operations and Contract Administration for SEMEA in collaboration with Legal, Corporate Finance and SEMEA Sales Representatives. Liaise with SEMEA Regional Sales representatives to ensure timely customer invoicing. Oversight of SEMEA Regional sales operations logistics including interactions with the company’s logistics operations personnel in US and Israel for shipment and customs. Oversight of local office expenses and facilities. Direct and provide hands on management of product delivery issues in parallel with the Company’s importers. Supervision of SEMEA Regional accounting and sales operations activities as necessary. Key contributor towards the monthly close process for the US Company on behalf of the France entity and SEMEA Region. Ensure that monthly balance sheet reconciliations are accurately prepared for all balance sheets accounts. Contribute to the preparation of consolidated monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for internal reporting purposes to satisfy both France statutory and US GAAP. Preparation of internal financial management reports to the Corporate FP&A Group for review by the Company’s executive management group. Preparation and management of customer invoicing. Liaise with the Regional Sales representatives on customer collections. Oversight of VAT tax returns preparation by the Company’s accountants. Oversight of the preparation of the tax return filings and statutory audits. Liaise with the Corporate office to ensure consistent application of US GAAP requirements. Assistance with preparation of documents for the quarterly reviews as well as the interim and annual audits with the external auditors. Experience : Fluent in French and English (both written and verbal) Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or equivalent. Minimum ten years experience. Monthly closes and reconciling general ledger accounts. Chartered accountant or CPA with a large national accounting firm or equivalent desired. Revenue recognition experience with computer hardware/software per US GAAP desirable. Experience with Oracle Financials, multi-national public companies, telecommunications industry, rapidly growing companies, invoicing products are all desirable too. Other: The SEMEA Finance and Operations Manager will work in collaboration and coordination with the Sales VP for the SEMEA region. Travel will be required within France, Southern Europe and potentially other Middle East and African countries. The SEMEA Office-Finance Manager reports to the US Director of Accounting or Corporate Controller (to be determined). Ability to be a team player in a changing environment. Ability to interact with various levels of management and peers. Plan, schedule and organize work independently without significant supervision in order to complete tasks within designated timelines.
