Company Description : Our client is a leading global provider of IP products that enable voice, video and other multimedia services. Their products allow service providers to migrate from traditional voice networks to all-IP, fixed-mobile and multimedia networks consistent with emerging IMS standards. Job Description : A high level Sales Manager that is familiar with the telecom market and has over 7 years of actual experience of successfully selling telecom equipments (Millions of Euros) to operators directly and through SI (System Integrators) and other sales channels. Has personal relation acquaintance with key people among some tier operators and other key players in the market. Working out of home office (Phase 1), at a later stage a formal office might be opened. • An advantage for candidates that worked for the following companies: Nortel, Lucent, Marconi, Alcatel, Ericsson, Sonus, Broadsoft, Cirpac, etc. selling switching equipment. The selected Sales Manager will be responsible for selling the Company products and services in a territory according to the Company´s sales policy. Achieve and exceed agreed revenue targets in-line with the business plan. Establish the Company presence in the market. Lead the sales from the opportunity level to signing the contract. Develop new partnerships with SIs, agents, resellers, operators, Alternative Carriers, xSPs and Service Providers. Investigate new business opportunities and develop existing accounts. Preparing proposals and responses to the RFIs and RFPs. Maintain high level of customer satisfaction at all times. Coordinating commercial and technical issues related to pilots, test, trials and evaluations and see them through. Constant knowledge of the Company solutions and technologies Be involved in the local exhibition, customer briefing, seminars, product launches in the territories. Produce periodic reports, providing a concise assessment of the status, issues and concerns of the key elements in his activities. The position involved travelling abroad. Skill Required : Senior person with at least 7 years of successful sales of telecom equipments to the Service Providers market, preferred in the switching field. Consistent over achievement of sales targets of millions Euros in the telecom market through the years. Experience in selling capital equipment (Capex) and Services and Operational expenses (Opex) to Service Providers. Full command of the English and Spanish languages, additional European language – an advantage. Minimum university education or equivalent, Electrical Engineer degree and a master degree in Business Administration are an advantage. Good technical understanding. Ability to have a “first meeting” by himself. VoIP/NGN experience would be an advantage. Ability to engage on senior levels. Ability to address customers from the technology level and all the way up to the strategic & telecom trends level. Proven ability to identify the key decision makers in each opportunity. Proven ability of door opening and closing a deal. Has access to senior decision makers. An advantage will be to have personal relation acquaintance with key people among some of the operators and other key players in the market. Dynamic, self-starter with a hunger for sales and winning business. Strong business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit. Independent, experience in remote working, working with a remote team.
